Energy Laboratory, this group offers a variety of helpful reports, fact
sheets, reviews and case studies about energy-efficient new homes.
The National Association of Homebuilders Research Center
The research arm of NAHB provides a variety of resources, including
links to the association's green building guidelines and a list of local
green building councils nationwide.
United States Green Building Council
USGBC is now in full rollout of its LEED for Homes (LEED-H) program.
This group offers tips and opportunities for builders to create housing
to the highest energy and environmental standards.
The Green Guide
As part of its ongoing mission to inspire people to care about the
planet, National Geographic Society acquired the Green Guide in March
2007. Dubbed the “green living source for today’s conscious
consumer”, The Green Guide is an invaluable resource for men

Renewable Energy Policy Project
REPP's goal is to accelerate the use of renewable energy by providing
credible information, insightful policy analysis, and innovative strategies
amid changing energy markets and mounting environmental needs by researching,
publishing, and disseminating information, creating policy tools, and
hosting highly active, on-line, renewable energy discussion groups.
Building Green
An independent company committed to providing accurate, unbiased,
and timely information designed to help building-industry professionals
and policy makers improve the environmental performance, and reduce
the adverse impacts, of buildings. They offer both print and electronic
resources to help you design and build construction projects from a
whole-systems perspective and take
an integrated design approach that minimizes ecological impact and
maximizes economic performance.
EPA Green Buildings
EPA's Green Building Workgroup was formed in July 2003 to bring together
the many programs across the Agency that work with the building and
development sectors to improve their environmental performance. Workgroup
members strive for a built environment that protects and enhances the
health of ecosystems and the public.
